EQUINE:
> PA View of the equine stifle acquired with a portable x-ray generator. Flattening can easily be seen on the Medial Femoral Condyle.
> Standing oblique shoulder on a quarterhorse. Dynamic range impossible with film/screen
> Skull radiographs are a snap
> Visualize both over-exposed and under-exposed areas on a single radiograph
> Dorsopalmar View of the equine foot on a laminitic horse. Notice that the gas dissecting up the dorsal hoof wall, the Type VI solar margin fractures, and the Navicular bone can all be seen on this one view.
> Have you ever seen a patella on an adult horse this clearly with any other system?

SMALL ANIMAL:
> Ingested penny is clearly seen in feline intestine.
> Radiograph shows exquisite detail of feline paw
> Dog undergoing a myelogram
> Severe, acute pancreatitis.

Typically, evaluating regional peritonitis is very subjective. In this case, with an Eklin image, tissue equalization clearly demonstrates the loss of serosal detail in the cranial abdomen compared to the caudal abdomen.
> Full hip radiograph of large dog
> Linear foreign body.

The classic pattern of a linear foreign body secondary is demonstrated, and the thorax is still well exposed.
> Cardiogenic edema.

The classic pattern of interstitial pulmonary edema secondary to heart failure. On conventional film this could easily be confused with a number of other conditions, but with an Eklin system the ability to evaluate all parts of the lung and the enlarged left atrium with a single exposure makes this a much more straight-forward diagnosis.

ZOO/EXOTIC:
> Koko, the famous sign language gorilla, with abscessed tooth
> Full body radiograph of lizard
> Detail never seen before in radiograph of elephant foot
