All Eklin RapidStore systems come standard with redundant disk drives, which provide failure protection – if any one storage disk fails, data can be quickly restored to a replacement disk. Eklin RapidStore systems also include high-speed local area networking capability and an interface to Eklin.Net™, Eklin’s web-based services gateway. Eklin RapidStore systems can also be integrated with Eklin’s EklinVault™ remote image storage service through a broadband Internet connection, thereby providing almost unlimited storage capacity.

The Eklin RapidStore SA image management system is scalable to over 200,000 digital radiographic images and includes sophisticated security, access control, and teleradiology features. An Internet-based image viewer is available to read any study, anywhere, at any time.

An Eklin RapidStore image management system, integrated with an Eklin RapidStudy direct capture digital radiography system and an Eklin RapidView™ diagnostic workstation, provides the essential building blocks for a complete digital radiography environment – the Eklin Digital Practice^®.
