A key component in the Eklin Digital Practice^®, an Eklin RapidView diagnostic color workstation allows veterinarians to retrieve and view digital medical images quickly, perform far better diagnosis than conventional film, plus efficiently manage images and studies from all connected digital modalities.

DICOM-compliant digital medical images from Eklin RapidStudy™ digital radiography systems or from MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, or fluoroscopy systems can be transferred to and examined simultaneously on an Eklin RapidView workstation. Additionally, the images can be sent electronically to specialists for additional review, archived locally or remotely, or printed. JPG image files can also be imported into a DICOM study for easy organization and storage.

All Eklin RapidView diagnostic workstations incorporate a high contrast, high resolution color or medical-grade grayscale monitor, an Eklin-enhanced version of eFilm™ Workstation diagnostic imaging software, internal storage for approximately 4,000 - 8,000 digital radiographic images, high-speed local area networking capability, and an interface to Eklin.Net™, Eklin’s web-based services gateway. Eklin’s grayscale workstations also support an optional second monitor.
